After my husband passed this past winter I was alone for the first time ever and not only grieving but frightened about re-defining myself.  A true low point in my life.

I had cared for critically ill family members for many many years losing myself in the work and their dependence.  And although hard to admit my husband was not only sick but verbally abusive so I wasn’t sure if I had self-esteem.

A friend referred me to Mary at Brook’s Life & Recovery Coaching and immediately things started to change.  Through her great listening skills, weekly tasks and suggestions my mind just seemed to open up allowing me to identify new goals and begin working towards them.

Although life is sometimes scary and different I’m learning to ask for help from my friends and family.  I’ve got a lot to live for including a new grandchild and re-emerging interests in life.

Thank you Mary!
